This town that Vega has brought Ah Sahm and his friends is not the safest place. So any plan that she might have is going to affect not just her but also him. This town has no rules and proof is apparent. In the episode titled 'To a man with a hammer, everything looks like nail', Ah Sahm enters a world where the men who patrol the border, and the ones who watch out for newbies are not in uniforms. Not like Lee and Bill in San Francisco's Chinatown. So, the first thing that he does is attempt to get himself acclimated to the new town. We all know Ah Sahm so the best way for him to familiarize himself with the town is by picking a fight. This is his way of getting the lay of the land, and by doing so, he had earned himself an enemy.

Vega wanders off from the crowd, and Ah Sahm follows behind her. She tells him that everything he sees, even where they're standing, used to be Mexico, long before they decided it was California. Vega then asks Ah Sahm about his past. He reveals that he grew up in China. His sister came to America a few years before him, and he came to find her and bring her home, but she wasn't interested. Vega also has a sister, and like with Ah Sahm and Mai Ling, they're all that's left of their family. Ah Sahm and Vega are both strangers to the land. They're just barely tolerated and everything is taken from them, such as their rights, land, and money. All they truly have are the people they love. Ah Sahm tries to kiss Vega, but she pulls away.
Fett was glimpsed in season 2 episode 1, played by Temuera Morrison. It's full circle for the New Zealand actor too: technically this is the first time Morrison has appeared as Boba Fett -- aside from some voiceovers, he played Jango in the prequels -- and it's something of an anticlimax that he simply shows up and starts talking. After Ahsoka Tano last week, this isn't the first time a major Star Wars character just walks in with little buildup. But then you realize Fett's arrival is a prelude to the real reveal The Mandalorian has been building toward since its inception. In fact, we get to meet Boba Fett twice: once as badass warrior monk taking out bad guys with a massive hammer, and then again as the armored and iconic Star Wars fan favorite we know and love.
Spooge tries unsuccessfully to force the ATM open by pounding away at the machine with a sledgehammer, calling his girlfriend a "skank" when she questions his competence. Jesse notices that the little boy is missing, and takes the opportunity to chastise her over how she is raising him. Spooge's wife mouths off, outraged that Jesse dared accuse her of being a bad mother. The boy reappears and encourages Jesse to play peekaboo again. Jesse relents and, while his eyes are covered, Spooge's wife knocks him out from behind with a bottle.
After a comforting discussion and passionate lovemaking with Siobhan, Lucas returns to The Forge just before Job does...with the diamonds he was supposed to fence. He puts one on an anvil and smashes it with a hammer, regretfully telling Lucas that he should have researched more thoroughly before he and Carrie did their heist. A horrified Lucas realizes he spent 15 years in prison for stealing a handful of glass.
Sonic next bypasses an entire lineup of bear traps, and Tails, watching through his repaired binoculars, has had enough, deciding that he will no longer hold back; however, his bear traps did succeed in capturing Sticks, who compliments the traps' craftsmanship. Sonic next finds Tails sulking on an icy lake, saying that Eggman was right once he approaches. However, Sonic simply tells him he was outmatched, and Tails responds by saying he can have the chili dog placed on the pedestal next to him. However, the pedestal suddenly triggers a contraption which culminates in a bowling ball being fired from a cannon; it is only then that Sonic notices the "X" painted on the ice behind him and realizes this is another trap. The bowling ball lands on the "X", breaking the ice apart and tilting the portion Sonic is on vertically, with the hedgehog scrambling to grab the edge in panic due to his inability to swim. Tails gloats about how he played to Sonic's sympathetic and egotistic nature and used everything he had to his advantage, leading to a situation Sonic could not escape and effectively trapping him.
Hiding at the abandoned theater, Cage ponders why the Stylers are gunning for Jones, and realizes that he is working with the Stokes Crime Family. Jones admits that he had a partnership with Mariah Dillard and asks Cage to protect him from the Stylers, but Cage is hesitant to help Jones after what happened at the party. After avoiding the Stylers, Cage helps Jones with his sprained ankle and tells him to spit out everything about his work with Dillard.
Rory comes home and tells Lorelai that she is "coming out". Lorelai is first surprised because why in the world would Rory want to be a debutante? Then suddenly her sharp Gilmore brain kicks in, and she realizes that Emily sneakily implanted this idea into Rory's brain, making her think that this is what every girl dreams of. She starts to pick up the phone to call her mother and get Rory out of this mess, but fortunately Rory stops her and says that it made Emily so happy when Rory told her she would do it. Besides it's one night, how hard could it be? It may even be fun! Lorelai and Rory start talking about everything they need for the ball, when Rory reads that her father is expected to present her at the ceremony. Rory tries not to make a big deal about it, but you can see that she is nervous when she states that she would get Taylor, or even the cable guy to do it. Lorelai picks up the phone and calls Christopher. Chris says that he'll definitely be there, and when Rory hears the news, she becomes so excited because "definitely" means that there is a 50/50 chance of him being there. Rory, Dean and Lane are watching TV while Lorelai walks around in the background, talking on the phone to Emily about the ball. Lane and Rory are telling Dean that he has to wear a tux, with tails and gloves, when Rory comes out. The thought of wearing a tux makes Dean a little queasy, but Rory points out that Neil Young looks great in a tux, and that she'll be watching BattleBots for a month to make up for this.
When Davos warns it will be dangerous and that he should take one of the swords in the shop, Gendry points out he was never taught to fight properly, and is only good with a war-hammer, which retrieving from the back of the shop a war hammer, a maul with a stag's head design on either side of the haft socket (likely forged himself and referencing his Baratheon roots). As they prepare to leave, two Gold Cloaks arrive to inspect Davos's boat, and Gendry remains on guard while Davos bribes them into leaving. Gendry is still somewhat self-conscious about being a commoner, with a commoner's lot in life. Like many of them, he is terrified and subservient when he encounters members of the nobility, while somewhat resenting the great lords for oppressing the lower classes and tearing Westeros apart with their bloody wars. Though he has no formal combat training, Gendry is remarkably skilled with a hammer, both as a weapon and a tool - much like his father Robert. While escaping from King's Landing, he effortlessly killed two curious Gold Cloaks with a war hammer, having inherited his father's incredible strength. In the Battle of Winterfell he fought with a mace and took down lots of wights, proving again his incredible strength and stamina. This strength has been a prevalent factor throughout his life, as he commented to Hot Pie that when he strikes steel with a hammer it 'sings'.
